THE BUILDING

meet foundry43

Long before it was an address, this was a foundry. Ironworking began on this block in the 1860s, when the Silver Brothers built one of Utah's earliest foundries here casting architectural columns and building fronts, and the machinery that ran the region's mines and mills.

The building took its present form in the 1940s, and in 2020 became one of the Granary District's first creative office conversions. Raw materials of the original construction were preserved, reshaping Foundry43 for how people work today.
